Skewerlicious
Skewerlicious is a quirky 2D action game where players skewer enemies into recipes mid-combat. Think food fighting back—with bonuses for culinary creativity. I’m currently designing its systems and combos to blend tight action and light puzzle solving.

Challenge
Create a game where food, combat, and recipes intersect—without slowing down moment-to-moment gameplay. The skewer mechanic had to feel powerful, readable, and dynamic.
Progress
Core skewer + combo logic implemented in Unity
Enemies are categorized as ingredients, and combining 3+ in a recipe triggers buffs
Dash, cooldown, and combo visual feedback prototypes are complete
My Role
This is my solo project—I'm handling everything from enemy AI design to combat feedback systems.
Core Mechanic Design: Built skewer-targeting and piercing logic
Recipe System: Designed a flexible combo system with dynamic effects (heals, power-ups, slow-mo, etc.)
Level Concepting: Planning boss dishes, kitchen-themed zones, and movement puzzles
"I wanted to explore game feel and juicy combat while embracing silliness. This game lets me test how narrative, mechanic, and flavor can literally mix."
Conclusion
Skewerlicious is my playground to explore action design, feel tuning, and mechanic-to-narrative fusion. It’s silly, satisfying, and a ton of design fun in every bite.
